3. Processing of personal data, purpose of use, and legal bases
When visiting my website, certain information is transmitted from your browser to my website's server. This information is temporarily stored in server log files. The data includes:
-
IP address of the accessing device
-
Date and time of access
-
Name and URL of the retrieved file
-
Previously visited website (Referrer URL)
-
Type of browser used, possibly your operating system, and the name of your internet service provider.
This data is processed to ensure the stability and security of my website and to display the content correctly. As soon as this data is no longer required, it will be automatically deleted. The processing is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, whereby my legitimate interest lies in the aforementioned data collection purposes. It is not my intention to deduce your identity from this data, and no tracking or individual or global evaluation takes place on my part. Furthermore, you can send me personal data, for example, when using a contact form. The type and scope of personal data you wish to disclose are up to you. Please also note the section on SSL or TSL encryption and the section on using the contact form.
4. Use of the contact form / Contact via email
Despite modern security technologies, data transmission over the internet can be risky. Complete protection against unauthorized access by third parties is not always guaranteed.
When using my contact form or contacting me via email, I process your data based on your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. To adequately process your inquiries, I need a valid email address from you. This and your message will be stored exclusively for processing and responding to your request and will not be passed on to third parties. They will be deleted as soon as they are no longer needed and there is no legal obligation to retain them.
Please note: You can also use a pseudonymized email address from one of the many email providers for contacting me. In this case, use an email address that does not allow conclusions about your actual identity (e.g., sonnenblume123@mailprovider.de). You don't need to provide your real full name. Additionally, using a TOR browser is possible.
You can revoke your consent at any time. Revoking has no effect on the legality of the data processing that took place based on your prior consent. For the revocation or further questions, you can contact me in writing or by email. Please use the contact details provided above.
5. SSL & TSL Encryption
To make the transmission of your data as secure as possible, I use SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection when the browser's address line changes from "http://" to "https://", and a padlock icon is displayed in your browser bar. Despite these security measures, please refrain from sending sensitive information, such as health data, via the contact form or unencrypted emails. Please use these communication tools only for initial contact.
6. Data Sharing
Data collected on my website will not be shared with third parties without your express consent (Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR).
7. Cookies I use cookies on my website.
These are small text files that are automatically saved on your device by your browser when you visit my site. A cookie contains data that is sent back to my server when you visit my website again. However, this does not mean that I directly become aware of your identity.
Cookies are used to make your use of my website more pleasant, efficient, and secure.
There are temporary cookies that are active only during your visit to the website and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. I also use persistent cookies that remain stored beyond your single visit.
You have control over the use of cookies: Your browser settings can inform you when cookies are set, and you can allow or deny their acceptance individually or in general. The deletion of already set cookies is also possible at any time. However, please note that deactivating cookies can limit the functionality of my website.
Data processing through cookies is based on my legitimate interests according to Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

You have the following rights:
-
Right to information about your personal data processed by me (Article 15 GDPR), which also includes information on processing purposes, category of personal data, recipients or categories of recipients, planned storage duration,

9. Use of Analysis Tools and Advertising
I generally refrain from using analysis tools that evaluate visitor behavior.
10. Fonts
To present texts and fonts consistently, this website uses web fonts provided by Wix but stored locally. When you access a page, your browser saves the necessary web fonts in its cache to display text elements and fonts correctly. One distinction from the widely used Google Web Fonts is that your browser does not need to establish a connection to Google's servers in the USA. Using the fonts stored within Wix serves the purpose of making my online offer consistent and visually appealing, which, according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, represents a legitimate interest. If your browser does not support the used fonts, a default computer font will be displayed.
11. Changes to the Data Protection Policy
The continuous development of my website or changes in legal or regulatory requirements may require adjustments to this privacy policy. This data protection declaration is the current version as of September 2023. Therefore, I recommend that you regularly review this privacy policy to stay informed about how your personal data is protected.
